This set of three documents represents a blueprint of an Operations Manual for UAS operations (OM) targeting environmental studies, accompanied by an Emergency Response Plan (ERP) and an example of UAS operation description and risk assessment according to JARUS SORA 2.0 (also known as ConOps). The OM focuses on normal procedures associated with UAS application in environmental studies and record-keeping. It also provides guidelines on minimizing environmental impact of UAS operations. It contains multiple appendices (pre- and post-flight check-lists, scope of work description template, equipment description form, incident report form and others). ERP and ConOps are formulated as stand-alone documents, such that they can be used separately or replaced when necessary.
Please note that SORA 2.5 is under review since December 2022, and thus ConOps part of this document set is likely to be deprecated by the end of 2023.
